<p>Hi,</p>
<p>I'm interested in pursuing engineering though my heart isn't dead set on it; I could just as well pursue biology or economics. My SAT and subject test scores are okay, but not top notch for engineering and I would be a lower ranked applicant for any engineering school a university offers.</p>
<p>So, my question is: if I list engineering on the Common App as my major and I don't meet the standard, will I then be rejected all together from that college or could I still be accepted, just as an undecided major.</p>
<p>The schools I am applying to are: UChicago, Duke, Northwestern, Stanford, WashU in St. Louis (they're all definite reaches for me, but hey, you gotta try right?)</p>
