Rejection Letter Question

<p>I found the USC rejection letter I received to be quite odd -- did anyone else's include this paragraph at the end:</p>

<p>"After reviewing your application, we determined that you are among a special group of students whose eventual enrollment at USC is of great interest to us. As such, we have set aside the final weeks in June, from the 11th to the 29th, for you to meet with a member of our admission staff..."</p>

<p>I know this is the Trojan Transfer Plan, but does everyone receive this like a generic thing or is this really a special invitation? What are the perks of transferring through this plan? Is appealing still an option? Thanks for any feedback!!</p>
