Am I the only person who would rather be rejected than be deferred. To me, deferral is just another way for Cornell to tease me. I could barely take it for the last 2 months, let alone until April to find out. I just want know know, I want to be a Cornellian or move on with my life.

At first I thought I might almost sort of agree. Then I got my rejection letter from Dartmouth. It's such a slap in the face to know that they're not even willing to look at your application again.

Deferral is better; I know a bunch of people, including someone from my HS, whco got in after being deferred from ED.

A deferral means you may still be a Cornellian, and you find out at RD time, when you'll hear from others anyway.

Who knows what will happen, I hope for the best for all you prefrosh.
