Essays good enough

Great teacher recs.

the truth is all i ask for

truthfully, if i was an admissions officer, i would want an explanation for that F in calculus. it doesn't look good floating around junior year.
you will need some safety schools. it depends on what state you would like to live in. do you have a guidance counselor at your school?, or maybe you know of people at your school from the past with similar interests and stats and where they ended up being accepted?
the last 5 colleges on your list will be far reaches. maybe you could take the sat's again this january? any sat iis?
well, i guess that's my two cents. i'm sure other people will be able to give more advice. good luck with everything!!!

my councelor is senile and i'm having trouble finding "guidance"
i'm retaking the SATs in dec.
would taking SAT IIs benefit me at this point?

some of your schools most likely require 2-3 sat II tests. i know that brown requires them. you can probably find out from their websites.

thanx, you are amazing!

haha i don't think i know enough about colleges to be amazing, but i'm glad i can help :)

UT Austin = big reach because you are not top 10% of your class
UW (seattle) = Not familiar with the school enough to give opinion
UPENN = far far reach
UCLA = far reach
U Mich = far reach
Brown = far far reach
Swarthmore = far far reach
Cornell = far far reach
Carnegie Mellon = far reach
Northwestern = far far reach

Sorry man, but I am trying to be truthful here. You need to look at colleges you have a decent chance at. You can still apply to a couple of these schools but you need to find some matches and safeties.

These are all spectacular schools (not sure about UW) and they hardly accept people who get an F, even if the F is in a tough course such as Calc.
