<p>Here is the post from last year's Yale EA students on CC. It shows how competative it is to get the best possible SAT scores (780s, 790s, 800s) compared to great scores such as 720s or 750s.</p>

<p>I like the person who has a 4.1 unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale...they deserved to be deferred. :)</p>
<p>Yale was the hardest last year, though. It had the lowest acceptance rate overall of all the ivies...</p>
<p>Harvard and Princeton probably have similar situations. Even for the other schools that are easier to get in to, I think that this provides a good gauge for the top schools in the nation.</p>
<p>That was disturbing...people (well according to them...) with great ecs, grades, recs, etc getting defered.</p>
<p>Oh gosh that was depressing lol. I still have hope though.</p>
