Anyone here get rejected or know of friends that got rejected? Ofcourse, the ones who got rejected wouldn't want to post it here. I am curious because out of everyone I know that applied to UW, only 1 got accepted but there's about 10 of us who still hasn't received anything. That 1 person had the highest stats out of all of us. I am just wondering if the UW has a mass sending of rejection letters. I'm just a little worried as I applied before Dec. 1 and haven't heard since. I'm trying to decide on a college, but UW is the only one I haven't heard from yet.

same here..half of the people who applied to UW at my school got accepted already! and the other half w/ average-lower stats like myself haven't gotten anything yet still

i heard that UW HAS sent some rejection letters, but these are only for those who obviously did not meet the requirements for UW.. for example, if they only had 1 year of foreign language instead of 2, or if their gpa was below a 2.0.

rejection letters should be coming in soon though.

one of my friends just got rejected yesterday. i believe he had a 3.3, had great essay, and yes, did sports. not sure about SATs, but I heard he got between 1700 - 1800, which is decent.

I haven't heard of a lot of rejection letters, mostly acceptance

did you friend have any ap classes?

im right on the bubble...
3.48 gpa
1650 SAT
3 AP classes, tons of music e.c, private teaching, community service,
and some good essays

I am still yet to hear back.... its been under review since Feb. 9
im getting pretty nervous

Does UW have rolling admission? I don't think I will be able to wait that long next year to hear from them....when I apply...
