Rejections

How does Pace notify applicants if not admitted for Musical Theatre? Email/Regular mail?

I’ve been hearing that admitted students have been receiving phone calls

Yes. I have heard that too. I don’t know if everyone is finding out today. I’m hoping not, but know that I likely didn’t get in because I didn’t get a call.

I don’t think all the calls have gone out. That’s a lot of phone calls to make in one day for the head of the department!

According to this thread, Pace rejections come via email in mid- to late-March. <a href=“MT Notification Dates and Methods Spring 2014 - #391 by LoveMyMTGirl - Musical Theater Major - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/musical-theater-major/1613510-mt-notification-dates-and-methods-spring-2014-p27.html</a></p>

Hi all,

All students who auditioned (attended their callback) for any number of our eight majors are notified via official letter. I’ve started on these, but it usually takes me a couple of weeks due to volume. Faculty members have made a few phone calls, but are no means done. I leave it up to faculty to call admitted students at their own discretion.

Remember, we can only notify you if you have been admitted by the university for academic study; we have to wait on those who haven’t yet.

Best,

Wayne Petro
Recruitment Coordinator and Incoming Advisor

Thank you, Mr. Petro. I sure hope my D is a YES!

Does Pace have a Waitlist? And if so, do they call the waitlisters or do they Snail Mail or email them?

At this point have all the calls been made for MT?

Has anyone received a Pace letter or call yet?

We received a letter for wait list

@MTMomTN - We haven’t gotten a call or letter. @dreamgirl1 - When did you receive waitlist letter?

No letters here.

We received the letter on Monday.

Son received No today. I thought it was a nice letter. He has acceptances at his top two, so he had moved on.
