Rejections

I will be the first to say "Rejected, Harvard Class of 2013"...but had I not applied I would have never known...

Exactly! I like your attitude! My daughter is posting her rejection letter outside of her admissions office. There has never been a Harvard acceptance in our town. She was hoping to be the first!
Everything happens for a reason and after reading so many of these blogs… I am pleased as punch she will be going to college with real folks!
Best wishes to all wherever the end up!

Thanks EmptyNestToBe. I say screw em (UPENN, STANFORD TOO!)…if they don’t want me I don’t want them!

UCLA on the other hand is alll mine.

Just read a posting on another thread:

Harvard press release!

“A record 10.9 percent of admitted students are from Latino backgrounds”

For some weird reason, it made me feel much better for being rejected by Harvard. It is not because I am not good enough academically, it is because I was not born Latino. I am more than happy to bring my tuition money to a school that is truly merit based.

i didn’t get to harvard, but not really sad. but it was fun to wait for the decision.

Damn didn’t get into Harvard… what are my chances of getting in if I re-apply?

I too was rejected, but I am not taking it personally. Somebody was smarter, somebody was more active in the community, and somebody gave a lot of money. Big deal. I have no hard feelings at all. I hope all the other 20,000 plus “rejects” will look past disappointment.

REJECTED =[
haha but i was extremely sad these past two days. can’t say it wasn’t my dream. well, i’m not sad anymore, and it was a tough decision what with all the einsteins out there. my props and advice are : let’s kiccckkk butt wherever we go,haha come out and BILL GATES on them =D
