Thank you Izzy! *hugss *. What upsets me most is not the rejection but how they handled my application. I had as missing materials on my application status a rec and an interview. I emailed 5 times about it and never got a reply. How they can not assist with your application and how they can decide a rejection without having your application complete. Jerks !!!!!!!! :(

Sorry Ronty about the rejection. Keep your head up, I really think u will get a great acceptance soon !! :D

Elisa, cheer up! You deserve a better one, you know!
Everybody! we still have more to go~
giving mild milk chocolate for everybody

seems like there are so many intels who got rejected or waitlisted this yr. can't get over the idea that we're rejected cuz of FA (self-justifying, sigh)

ok im supposed to mourn here...but this is soo funny..i got my first rejection today..it was from Bucknell University...heheh well it was very " Heart felt" they rote a better ESSAY than i did myself...apparently not enuff money...heheheh do i care??? Hell NO!!!

on a more serius note...the intels this yr have taken the word "liberal arts" a little too seriusly..we shud v all applied to more unis in the 30s n down cuz they got more money..how many have been rejected from trashy colleges? i mean cmon Bucknell was my safety!!! not enuff fundss...these ppl are making that term a world famous cliche...y am i not eating out today?? not enuff funds...hrrr hrrr....hhehe

speak of freaky!!!!
first SM gets into the good places and rejected by the uglies...
and now alu, whos in CMU, gets rejected by some place i can just pronounce bec it has a vague resemblance to Bubkbeak in Harry Potter

Same here... You gonna stay awake till 3:30 in the morning? I think I might.. the tension would be unbearable... can you guys believe that we're getting many results tomorrow?!!

As for Columbia, Rishabh, I don't know... I haven't applied there... you can always check the Columbia board out... all boards are quite helpful, I noticed...

maybe some of us EDers could help u on advise for how to pass time (get over here kjoodles and tell 'em something)

ok...here's what i did:

don't try thinking about the university too much during the day...try and watch a few movies...
but by about evening, u won't be able to control ur anxiety...then do this: if any of u have freinds at the universities ur recieving ur decisions on...try talking to them...not only will they help u...but u'll learn some cool stuff abt the places too... i for instance spent most of my time chatting with a senior of mine at Cornell...
and CC is a brilliant way to pass time...but don't spend tooooo much time on it, because it tends to get u even more tensed

jeanatkins, pardon me on my inferior knowledge oh HP...but i thght he was called BuckBeak till the Book 6...the last one i havn't read...so i apologize for the mistake

a reminder to all european applicants and other applicants who life in an area that uses daylight saving time,

according to wikipedia, the daylight saving time in the US starts the first of april, which means we will have to wait another hour....... (since for us it started last weekend

I almost cried when i heard this, but then i thought, hey i've waited my whole life for this; so what's an extra hour!

Hey Arjun... Lol! I wasn't charging you with a crime or anything.. don't have to say sorry... :p Anyway, you should really read Book 6 if you're an HP fan... (or are you just a fan of the movies? either way is good :p) Book 6 is excellent, but not as good as Books 4 and 5, IMO... I just hope Book 7 is the most memorable book of the series...

Anyhoo, thanks for the tips! We need them... I'm dead scared just thinking about what might happen... argh, this reminds me of my waiting for the Board Exam results...
