I noticed that not too many people are stepping up in the decision thread and admitting their rejection. Well allow me:

Hi my name is (not giving out over the internet!) and I'm a Yale reject.

Phew!
Alright, that was a little dramatic, but it did make me feel better. I guess the purpose of this thread is for kids to come out of the woodworks (there are other rejects, right?) and talk about plans for other colleges, etc.

It's funny, right after I read my decision, I got that cold, sick-to-my-stomach feeling. After writing all this, though, I am ready to work on my other applications tonight!

So who else is there?

I got rejected too, but I'm not sad about it. There are more important things in life.

I'm definitely ready for my college apps and for April 1!

Eighty something percent of EA applicants get rejected. There should definitely be more than just two people. :P

That can't be an accurate statistic, right? Unless it means that eventually (after the regular decision round) 80% will be rejected. I think that it is a much lower percentage than that in the early action round.

I got rejected too.

Whoo-hoo.

I'm not going to partake in this thread anymore, because a better one is out there at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=47016. You guys are still welcome to use it, though (like I have the power to stop you anyways!)

Im upset...but last year's defer/reject thread helped so much.

I suggest everyone go look at it.

I'm not sure how I feel. I know I'm disappointed but I didn't feel good about my appilcation so I think I saw it coming. Well time to move on...
