<p>I ask the OP and everyone on campus the same question: who cares? In the words of matt newland:</p>
<p>“Shut your simple ass up, go…and finish your 10 year doctorate or whatever, dayum.”</p>
<p>Barely related question - First chance dance - How formal an occasion will this end up being - formal, semi, casual? I get the impression that it is right at the beginning of the year. We currently are not planning to move-in dressier attire until needed since with good traffic we are only about 30 minutes away and it sounds like closets are small. Am I facing driving back down the next day if these clothes do not come on move in day?</p>
<p>First chance dance is casual. The first occasion for formal dress freshman year (if I recall) is the freshman formal, and that’s not until the winter.</p>
