relative difficulty of APs?

i'm trying to redecide my senior year schedule (it got messed up b/c of conflicts) and i was wondering if people who have already taken some of the following APs could tell me a bit about how hard they are:
-Calculus AB or BC (i'm deciding between them)
-English Literature
-European History
-French or Psych (kind of deciding between them)
so i'd love to get advice about how much work each of these APs would be, and from those of you who've taken a few or know about them, i'd love to hear what you think about the relative difficulties of these two schedules:

schedule 1:
-AP Calc BC
-AP English
-AP Euro
-lunch
-AP French V
-free
-International Relations (honors)
-Mentoring a History Class

schedule 2:
-AE (accelerated) French V
-AP Calc AB
-AP Euro
-AP Psych
-International Relations (honors)
-lunch
-AP English
-Mentoring a History Class

*both of these have a bit of flexibility; i could drop down to AB calc if i needed to in schedule 1, and i could drop psych and take a free if i needed to in schedule 2.

how do these schedules look in terms of the APs? does one of them look more challenging than the other?

thanks for your opinions! :)

The only APs I have taken are AP English Lang and AP Euro, and the insight I can give you is that AP English Lang is not a time consuming, or even very difficult course, the thing that is hard about it is the exam, I don’t think I got a 5 on it since the raw score you need to get a 5 is very high. AP Euro on the other hand was a **** load of work (at least at my school) and the way I see it, the only way to get a 5 is to spend a ridiculous amount of time and effort in the class. If you do that then a 5 should be easier than it would have been in AP English.

agreed ap euro is a lot of work but if you put in time you should be fine

^agree with the previous posters that AP Euro is a lot of work- lots of reading. In my case, it was difficult- most difficult course at our school, simply because of a crazy teacher.

AP English Lit- took that this year too, not bad actually and English generally isn’t my best subject. We had reading and then papers once a week, ocassional tests and projects too.

AP Psych- I self-studied this, so it may be different that what you’re doing, but the AP exam is one of the really easy ones.

AP Calc AB- I thought it was easy, and thought the AP exam was easy also. Didn’t put much time into this one at all.
