Relax-what's playing on your speakers?

omg i LOVE november's chopin!! it's so good! well i only like the slow songs though. i've never really been a fan of his rap. haha yay i'm not the only one who knows him on here hahaha. i'm surprised people on the east coast listen to jay chou. it's not that big of a deal here in socal because there are so many asians it's practically like...well, asia. hahahaha

i go to taiwan every summer, maybe that's why, i probably have the largest c-pop collection on here... again embarrassing cuz i'm a guy... personally i like hair like snow the best ;)

that's sooo weird haha all my guy friends like hair like snow the best too. it's a really good song but then that "la er la" stuff kinda weirds me out haha. i actually prefer maple--which a lot of people don't like as much. the lyrics are so purtyyy i listen to it every single day and it's ALWAYS on in my car haha

now playing: mendelssohn violin concerto :) no more c-pop for me tonight... i don't get the names of his songs tho, romantic cellphone... coral sea? definitely confused

if i could understand chinese better... maybe id appreciate the lyrics more.. my chinese is really bad.. and my taiwanese.. worse..

umm people on the east coast dont know him at all.. its just i go to taiwan a lot.. so i buy his cds and pop them into the car every once in a while.. i also have a dvd with a bunch of his music videos.. i showed them to my friends (theyre all white) just for fun.. and they loved him.. so.. theres a bit of a jay chou craze at my school (mostly among my friends)..

so if you thought jay chou didnt have an east coast.. caucasian fan base.. think again.. theres a group of 10-15 here.. haha

the romantic cellphone one is because the song's about this guy who really likes this girl and they communicate through text messages and he's always scared to text her because he doesn't want her to get freaked out or something. it's actually kind of cute.

and the coral sea one--well i can't really figure it out either but a line in there says something about their love being as deep as the coral sea. hmm since coral grows on shallow water i guess their love isn't that deep? LOL i have no clue. jay chou's songs are freaking weird but they're really nice to listen to.

*in reply to dw...i think you mean 2... me and you haha... i actually think i have all his cd's... weird

hmm... if we all got in the class of '10 would have quite a c-pop fanbase

RENT: "Today for you, Tommorrow for me"

my favourite jay song (from a long while bak.. its super old is )

最後的戰役..

know it?

i know it!!!! hahahaha awww how cool we should start a jay chou thread 8-) yayay okay maybe not but yeah o.O my favorite song out of everything is probably "excuse" from the common jasmin orange album

yea the 8 dimensions cd...

my favorite... 外婆, from the 七里香 album...

脫掉 by 杜德偉 was a pretty funny song, but apparantly no one likes it anymore...

actually excuse was the theme to a korean show i watched in taiwan called a kiss in april, that's the only reason why i like jay, wow i sound gayer than i have all my life lol

we completely ruined this thread

nooooo you don't sound gay at all! LOL it's cool to like jay and listen to mandarin songs hehe :) we've got to get in touch with the taiwanese in us somehow hehe

jay chou's okay, some of his songs are good like "cute girl (ke ai de nu ren)," "tornado (not gonna try)," and "simple love (jian dan ai)"

but he sounds really repetitive in a lot of his songs -.-"
gets kind of boring after a while

currently spinning:
T-Pain feat. Stat Quo - "I'm Sprung"
Copeland - "Sleep"
Nikk Furie - "The A La Menthe"

random? absofreakinlutely =)

haha i HATE asian soaps (my mom watches them religiously.. and like i swear to god.. she runs some sort of underground business in her free time.. like she has a network with her friends and 4 sisters.. when one of them travels to taiwan or china they buy loads of movies / soaps.. then they send them here to my mom.. where she copies them and redistrubutes them.. we have like stacks and stacks of blank CDs and DVDs.. its crazy!!)

when im in taiwan.. i usually just watch HBO.. or like BBC world..

the only tv shows i ever liked in taiwan were 順風婦產科 (korean comedy about a gynaecology office..) and this weird japanese show where they made costumes / a set that and then did weird skits where theyd do transformations and stuff and then get rated on a meter to the side of the stage.. umm.. know which im talking about? lol .. that was a really bad description

i like those songs too! they're considered like his debut songs. old but still good =D

dw... you are... a banana or twinkie if you will haha through and through!!!

gotta love the soaps, even if you're a guy... and gotta love the movies... house of flying daggers comes to mind... and how can you resist the movies, i got stuff just released for like a dollar there

hmm... anyone find his song bullfight and william's castle have the same choruses?

j'ai demande a la lune- indochine.

why do u guys listen to classical music? how?

the music from oregon trail.

yes, im playing.

all the stress lately has reversed my brain back to a 4th grade lvel.

im constantly alternating between rage against the machine, clutch, tool and zeppelin

nothing better than good music to get your mind away from this stuff

^^^ i am over led zep execept "all of my love." which is a *very*good song
