So I got to the release auth page of the common app, and i'm completely confused by what it's trying to tell me....can someone please explain this part to me?? Thanks!!

The release page for the Letter of Recommendations refers to you waiving your rights to see the recommendations after they have been submitted by your teachers/counselor. You usually want to waive your rights because if you don’t, admissions officers get suspicious because you could have possibly had influence on the letter. Hope that helps =D

yeah, thanks!!! so, pretty much waiving my rights=seeing recs after admission?

No… the opposite is correct: Waiving your rights = NOT seeing your recs after admission. You are waiving your rights to see your recs.

ohhh, gotcha, thanksss!!!1

at this time, clicking on the tab that will be waiving my rights to see the recs…hope it’s the right choice!!!
