Release date for ACT+Writing (Dec. test)

Are scores for the ACT + writing released at the same time as the ACT without writing? I wondered if it takes longer because of the essay grading.

It says right on the ACT website that the writing scores lag by about 2 weeks.

you can usually find out online 10 days later

The multiple choice scores are released online at the same time as everyone else's, but nothing goes to colleges (or in the mail to you) until the writing is graded too.

so basically if i have a january 1st deadline and i've never taken it with writing before i'm screwed?

you wont get the test!

i still havent gotten my october 27 test, and they just extended due dates!

stupid stupid STUPID ACT.

My writing scores have always come out 3 days later (max). Colleges state on their website their last applicable SAT/ACT date. If they say they accept a December ACT then they accept a December ACT.

They might accept it if it is reported in a timely manner. I still don't have my October ACT score, and one of my EA schools was supposed to take that test date. It turns out that I did get in with my SAT score from last year, but I need this ACT/December ACT for scholarships opportunities.
