Released October 2011 SAT Scores

730 CR
650 Math
680 Writing
Total: 2060

Well, before I had a 1930…so this is a big improvement, and I’m very happy about it :)

I feel so meh about my scores after seeing some of the CCers on here who plan to retake a 2360 or 2380…come on -___-

retaking a 2210… which is exactly what I got last time

If someone retakes a 2360 or 2380, it’s their loss of $50, a Saturday morning, and a shot at schools like Yale or Penn that look at every sitting. It shouldn’t make you feel bad.

Just don’t report the 2360… thats what everyone does at my school

Ah I sure hope this site represents the extremes of the academic realm… otherwise I’d feel pretty sad after looking at these other scores lol… anyways
780 Math
800 Writing (11/77)
720 Critical Reading (no idea what happened here)
2300
Junior, first time taking it so I guess it’s okay =P

Haha…Hopefully the colleges that I apply too won’t require me to send all of my scores.

Sophomore PSAT: 189
Junior PSAT: 212
March 2011 SAT: 710 CR, 560 M, 660 W (68 MC, 8 essay) - 1930

October 2011 SAT: 780 CR, 550 M, 680 W (67 MC, 9 essay) - 2010

Total: 2010 Single sitting, 2020 Superscore

Obviously, you can tell where my weaknesses are. Timed writing and math=big fat no. My October score is okay, but I have a 230 point difference between my CR and M scores… 230!!! I have a feeling that college adcoms won’t look too favorably on that.

Ya, I’m not retaking it.

CR = 760
M = 800 (:D)
W = 790 (essay = 10)
Total = 2350

Really happy w/ my score, considering the highest I got on a practice test was 2230 ^^ Not retaking.

Congratulations to all! It looks like most people got great scores that they are satisfied with!

2270 is good for me this year. I know I’ll break 2300 next time! :D

CR: 600
M: 700
W: 740 (74, 9)

Total: 2040

I was hoping to break 2000 with this test ^^ My first score from January was 1880, so I’m happy with the improvement (:

Any advice? I am planning on/want to apply to some ivies and other competitive schools and was counting on getting the needed scores from this test. However, I received:
CR- 720
W- 720
M- 670
Total:2110

Should I re-take or not? I know these scores are at the low end, but I do not know that I will have the time to fit in another testing date.
Thanks:)

^ Retake and try to get 690 or higher in Math.

flashpoint1230 what did you get in math when you made that PSAT 212?

@Aquawater98

Out of curiosity, what was your raw score? I got a 77 and an 8 on the essay and I got a 740 on writing, and I’m interested in what I would have gotten if I could have actually completed my essay (or just got it a couple points up).
