I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this class. I signed up for it as my social issues class, but I do not know much about the class or the professor. Is it difficult? Interesting? Is the professor knowledgeable?

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Sorry... That was my initial reaction when I saw the title of this thread, and that was my overall impression of the class.

When I signed up for that class, I thought it would be interesting and informative. But, damn, I couldn't have been more wrong. The professor is nice, but, frankly, I felt like the class should be renamed Rudisill's Life Story. He would constantly go off topic and tell us very long winded stories that really didn't have anything to do with what we were talking about, even though I think he thought they related to the discussion topic. I thought this class was a huge waste a time, and taking it with writing 140 just sucks. It doesn't really produce a lot of things to write about. Writing 140 topics seemed to be the same after the first 2 topics.

On the plus side, its an easy A. You really have to be an idiot to get anything less than an A in writing 140. The essays are graded so easy and the midterm and finals are so simple. I eventually realized that going to class was just a huge waste of time, so I only went once a week for the last 6 weeks of the semester.

I recommend taking a different class. It's easy, but its boring and the writing 140 class you take with it doesn't have very interesting topics to write about.

you can still change your classes online, so just choose another one. i know there a couple of social issues classes that still have some openings
