Religion at Trinity

I'm really interested in several NESCAC schools, and I'm wondering how open the Trinity campus community is to people with strong religious beliefs. Is it open and welcoming? Skeptical? Hostile? How would you characterize life at Trinity for a religious person?

Trinity has a religion major and several religious based groups so I would think there would be room for a fit. Because of the name, some might think that Trinity is religious but that is not true. It is highly academic, not religious.

Two schools which are harder to get in to than Trinity but have a Jesuit/ religious culture that is taken seriously but by no means oppressive are Boston College (US News #31) and College of the Holy Cross ( US News #32) vs Trinity #38. They would be a stretch but have a culture that appreciates religious students of all denominations. BC is a national university while Holy Cross is a liberal arts college around the same size as Trinity. Kids from my high school that got in to BC have a GPA of 4.0, Holy Cross GPA 3.85, Trinity 3.5.
