Religion -- one more question

I reviewed the links below on religion -- and most were focused on "what if I'm not religious... do I have to..." I am a Christian (Protestant) and that is very much a part of who I am and I would like to connect with others who feel as I do. Just curious if there are programs like Campus Crusade for Christ or Intervarsity on campus?

Being religious at Fordham is not necessarily exclusively Roman Catholic. 40% of students are not Catholic. My D has had 3 Jewish professors so far. All were STELLAR profs. Just amazing. There are spiritual retreats offered for students at Fordham’s retreat house. They are VERY SPECIAL. Your spirituality and religious views will be welcomed at Fordham. There are clubs galore to join, and I imagine a significant number of non Catholics meet in groups to share their views. If Fordham is anything, its an open campus. You wont be harangued or prosletyzed. Theology is taught from a perspective of surveys of other religions or philosophical discussion, not doctrinal. (There are upper division Honors Catholic Studies programs which are VERY prestigious, for those who have an interest.)

You will be welcomed at Fordham, trust me.

Fordham’s evangelical christian community is non-existent. The school is very open to christians and non-christians of all denominations and creeds (the muslim students association is well populated), but aside from bible study w/ Rev. Erika (sp?) and the Christian Life Community there isn’t much. There is no intravarsity to my knowledge, nor the crusader thing (never even heard of it). However you’re in NYC so whatever you’re looking for you can find it somewhere, maybe just not on campus. Religion on cmapous for non-catholics is just quieter and much mroe private (however the respect for life club does have a broad membership base). The on campus protestant religious community just isn’t vocal or incredibly large, nor does it have the depth that you may be looking for.

We just got back from visiting both RH and LC and they specifically talked about Campus Ministry programs at RH. I don’t recall hearing about many religious clubs at LC.
