Religious Affiliation??

Hey Guys
I'm not quite sure how to work this but here goes nothing. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the religious affiliation at Villanova. I know it is religiously affiliated but I was wondering if anyone could explain how that impacts student life/ how serious the affiliation is at school.
Thanks!!!

not really sure, my counselor said it’s evident in there school. the student body is 68% roman catholic but there isn’t much religious pressure going on at the school. however if you want to party, people usually don’t party until their junior. and also you must take 2 semesters of theology classes i believe…

Here are a few links to past discussions on this question ; I would encourage students or other parents to comment.

Regarding “people usually don’t party until their junior year”: False!

Current Villanova Student

A) I party now. I’m a rising sophomore.

B) Religious affiliation is there. It’s not pressed upon you by any means. (I can easily make this assumption, my sister goes to Notre Dame and I go to Villanova).

C) You do have to take 2 theology classes. Over four years, it’s not a big deal.
