I'm the president of a religious (Catholic) organization and pretty active in a couple of other religious activities in school... I go to a Catholic school. Do you think putting these down on applications would hurt me at certain schools? I plan on putting them down anyway because they're important to me, I just want to know what I'm getting myself into.

hi

I am kind of in your situation (I'm heavily involved in my mosque) and am wondering about this too. Do you think its an advantage to be muslim or should I not mention it?

Anakinsolo - Do I think it is an advantage to be Muslim or should you not mention it....I don't even know where to start.

I am in a brave mood.

Use your noodle. Would a school reject you because of your religion. Thiinnkk

Do you take your lithium before mass?

hehe j/k

But it shouldn't matter. So long as your not applying to Pensicola Christian or Bob Jones "University". To them being Catholic is like being a baby killer.

haha well, the main one I'm worried about is Columbia... I hear that the Ivies in general look down on admitting religiously involved applicants. My only other reach school is Georgetown, and seeing as it is a Catholic school I'm not worried about that.
