Asking for suggestions as stated in title of thread. The student has low scores, and needs remedial time, but is being forced to graduate by HS (a long story). Schools need to be able/willing to use assistive hearing technology. The student is not ready to be mainstreamed in college, even community college. We need a place that can work with the disability, and catch up on basic skills.

Is there a department of vocational rehabilitation in your town?

I do not understand how someone can be forced to graduate high school. Is the student to obtain a “certificate of completion” or something like that? Or, are they past the age one can attend high school?
