he's not just "asian"

oh come one ... who cares honestly. so he's half black... whats you're point?

that it gave him an admissions advantage...yes maybe it did.

so what? theres no need for SPITE

it's not spite, I'm just saying that many people took it the wrong way because of that lack of information

It's not spite, it's just admitting that he had advantages that many people waiting on decisions don't.

sigh

gets on soapbox

OK, so aside from the racially charged can of worms you just opened here, I guess I'm going to have to repeat my rule of college admssions:

RELAX!

You can't just look at who has been accepted and deferred and rejected and use that information to figure out what decision was made about you. It just doesn't work that way. Pr0digy's ethncity does not affect you at all, so don't worry about it. And even if you want to make some affirmative action arguement...

I assume you're saying that the fact that you were under the impression that an Asian was accepted with such and such stats...what? Gave you hope that Asians with similar stats would also get in? Aside from how much extrapolation you're using here, how about this....

Wait two days and you'll get your own decision in the mail!

Geez guys. There is such a thing as thinking too much.

gets off soapbox

sick to the stomach
