Got a 33 today, is there anyway I can remove my other four scores from my high school transcript? I am hearing yes and no from classmates.

just speak to your counselor, at my school you just send a request letter than you want only x and x scores to be sent...the school can not force you to send any scores that you don't want being sent...

You can also contact ACT and have them cancel those scores. They will send a letter to your high school saying those scores are canceled and they can't send them to anyone via your transcript.

By the way, you can avoid this hassle by not providing your high school code when you register.

I don't know if you can remove scores from your transcript. BUT.....any school reviewing your previous scores and your most recent scores take interest in how well you have progressed.

Today, top colleges are selecting their freshmen class on many more factors than just the ACT/SAT scores. Even the Ivy schools are turning their heads away from some of the top scorers. Colleges want students that have a proven track record in academics, athletics/extracurriculars, and community service/church work. They want students that challenge themselves and balance a full variety of interests. A student with a 36/2400 score does NOT have a guarentee to any school. A perfect score does reflect that a student tests well. Colleges want more than just a bright test taker.
