good luck to everyone! <3

Congrats on the interview! It seems like notifications went out early this year. Last year, I got my finalist notification March 3rd. I’m not sure if the finalists’ weekend already happened, but last year I had a great experience. Interviews were pretty casual (they were more conversational than anything else–the interviewers wanted to get to know you as a whole person). The group interviews were also not too bad. We were divided into small groups and in my group the students kind of guided the conversation and we talked about a bunch of different topics. People told stories and it was another way to get to know the other amazing finalists. It was relaxed and fun. For the rest of the finalists’ weekend, we took tours of the med campus and learned more about the curriculum at U of R and the med school. If you have any other questions, feel free to message me! Best of luck!

Do you recall the attire for guys attending the REMS Reception/Dinner the evening of the first day?
Also, was the group interview conversation medically oriented, or was it general?
Thank you in advance!

When are they coming out with results notification

any one received offer letter for REMS class 2014. any idea ,out of 45 in the REMS finalists how many would get offer, how many wou

how many would get decline and how manyto get alternate? thanks

Keeping my fingers crossed. Heard that they have sent out the notification by snail mail on Monday; anxiously checking my mailbox daily

I thought they will email us with the decisions

@wayoutwestmom, and @ admissions- For REMS, any past data available on howmany were offered, declined and given alternate? What chance for an alternate to get offer and if it happens when is the probable date? late april or early may?

I don’t have data for REMS acceptance/declines/alternates since D2 didn’t apply REMS.

I only know that there are no more than 15 REMS students total in the freshman class of any given year.

@remsaspirant, My D received a phone call Monday night 3/10, informing her of the acceptance, and was told snail mail was sent on the same day.
A student living in Rochester has received her (snail mail) acceptance letter yesterday.
I know the current 2013 REMS class (freshmen) has 10 students, and they offered admission to 15.
Good luck.

Thanks DrillMom. any idea, out of 15 ,how many will enroll? If someone gets “alternate”, what chance to get acceptance becoz someone did not enroll?

@WayoutWestMom, Thanks for the info.I am told that 10 are expected to enroll every year.for the last 5 years, any stats avaialble. …like some year more than 10 and some years less than 10 …?

@DrillMom, Congrats to your D. Is she expecting anyother BS/MD program?any idea about the merit scholarship and fin.aid? Was it included in the same mail or expected in a separtae mail?
