Rems

How are decisions on REMS? Congrats to those accepted who will be attending!! Any nontakers who will be going someplace else (another BA/MD program or perhaps a straight Ivy)? This might open the door to some on the waitlist (last year I heard that none were taken off the waitlist).

Wrong -

From UR Office of Institutional Research 05-06 (last year's) CDS
(I pasted specifically the info u requested)

Freshman wait-listed students (students who met admission requirements but whose final admission was
contingent on space availability)

Number of qualified applicants offered a place on waiting list 1091_
Number accepting a place on the waiting list 333_
Number of wait-listed students admitted _29

No, he meant no one made it for REMS. Is there really such a thing as a waitlist for REMS?

i think cohen was referring to the rems program wait list...if that is any different...just guessing...

Yes, there is a wait list for REMS. They call those wait listed "Alternates".

so i was right! whoo hoo! yeah, would been nice if they could squeeze me into the rems program...
