I haven't checked CC for months now.
and in my secret lair, I researched other colleges (It was suppose to be for the world domination, but it can wait...)

So, please give me your wise words, CCers!
(I only plan to apply for maybe 3 reaches, 7 matches, and 2 safeties)

Any more schools that you think I should look into? Thank you :D

Seems odd that some of your reach schools are LAC yet none of your matches. You seem to be favoring city schools so perhaps some of the LACs in or around Philly might be worth looking into.

Other than that, the list looks pretty good and should keep you away from world domination for a while. :)

Yes, I like living in the urban area.
Also, I would like a school with great athletic spirit (Such as UT)
If not, I would love a school with great intramutural sports.

Maybe I am being too picky, but I want to be part of College Community (Even in big schools, if possible), not just another student walking around taking classes.

Uh----- Reed doesn’t have great athletic spirit (ZERO organized sports teams) and it only has a few popular clubs (like rugby and ultimate Frisbee…i think).

Seeing as you said, “…I want to be part of College Community (Even in big schools, if possible), not just another student walking around taking classes.” you would probably like LAC’s more than large universities.

With that being said, you should probably check out:
Macalester
Lewis and Clark
Richmond
Pitt ?
Maryland?

I like the University of Richmond and U of Maryland suggestions. Richmond may not have the national name in sports but they love their sports and it’s a beautiful campus. U of Maryland is a metro ride to D.C. so while not exactly an urban school … it’s close enough.

4 out of state public schools that I have on the list are my dream schools. Even though it is very unlikely that I will attend there (High OOS tuition, More In State students applying for public schools). So U of Maryland, UConn, or Pitt is not a wise choice right now for me (Even though, I like their school spirit!)

WPI is about at the edge of my interest group. One day, I like them, one day, I am not hyped about it.

I really (x2) financial aid. I think my EFC would be 0 (30K/Yr from my dad, my sister goes to college as well). Do these colleges give good financial aid? (I heard Rochester doesn’t, which is a shame)

U Richmond won the national football something in their division…I’m sorry, I don’t remember the exact details because I’m not a sports person myself.
