In theory, anyone can ask that, yes. There may be reasons, such as “we can only afford X”. Usually the school is going to need a reason, and then they are going to make a decision on it (such as, we’re willing to give more for this kid, or, we’re ok with not getting this kid).
I think they will ask to see what your better offers are from other college(s)
The decision was out. Got accepted with a 25K leadership scholarship. UGPA 4.0 WGPA 4.6, no SAT/ACT.
I signed up on this site just to talk to Neeple. My daughter is a medalist/math major. We are visiting in a couple of weeks, but she already thinks “there are no girls there”.
Ah I’m sorry I already received some more affordable options than RPI and declined my offer there! Good luck to your daughter though, RPI is a wonderful choice!
Good for you! She also has much better offers so doubt she will end up there. We shall see!
Hi BaileysMom- I’m Elenas mom and my daughter just made the decision yesterday to go here. She visited campus over the Easter weekend. Anyway- just wanted to say hi and let you know at least one female (lol) will be going to RPI.
