<p>So I've mentioned my AP scores on my common app, but do I need to send official scores? I was wondering this about Caltech too, and I've spent so long searching up on both schools. I just found out a few minutes ago that Caltech doesn't need official scores. But does RPI need them?</p>

<p>From their website:</p>

<p>“In general, if you earn a score of 4 or 5 on the AP exam, you’ll usually be granted academic credit at Rensselaer. You’ll need to submit test score reports or college transcripts to our Registrar’s Office before registering for classes.”</p>

<p>My son is going to self report on common app and only send scores if he decides to attend.</p>
