Rent for apartments in berkeley?

<p>I was wondering what most people would consider to be a reasonable rent for living in Berkeley. I'm looking at a shared studio for $600 a month and a shared bedroom for $475 a month. Are these normal Berkeley rents? What about for a one-bedroom with bathroom? I'm just trying to get a feel for the normal prices in this area, I'm not too familiar with Berkeley housing. </p>

<p>Depends on where but when I lived in an apartment on College Ave (maybe 3-4 streets from Bancroft), I paid $650 ($1300 split between me and another guy). One bedroom, one living room.</p>
