I rented a car from aug 30 to the 1st. I am staying in my room early. Where the heck do I park my rental?

Good luck. Call Brown see if visitor parking is available then but I doubt it since it is move in time. If not, rack up some overnight parking tickets.

there's a pay lot on brook st. between waterman and george

also, as modestmelody says, parking in a brown lot overnight without a permit is a $30 ticket, which is not that expensive for overnight parking (at least where I'm from) Also, if you move your car by like 8am, you may avoid the ticket. I also think I heard parking overnight on the street (which is illegal) is a $15 ticket from the Providence police department.

Yup on the street is 15 at least for the first one, not necessarily the second (I'm not sure about that).

Those are also hit or miss, but they know that it's Brown move in time and are probably looking forward to making a boatload off of people on the streets those few days.

I like to think of the $15 Providence overnight parking ticket as more like a parking fee rather than a fine, since it costs more than that to park overnight in many cities.

Except when you ignore your ticket and a month later it's 90 bucks. Ooops.
