<p>Hey I am trying to transfer to UM college park next fall or spring. I am a sophomore with an undecided major, (its probably between communications or psychology and a minor in Pre Law) I wanted to know if anyone could give me any insight about the school,about it's strong and weak points and if you think your getting an overall good education worth your time and money. Also do you feel that you had a good college experience there so far? I like college park because it has more to offer than my old college in club activities, strong academics, (in more than one major) and the school seems to provides a lot opportunities for its students and it looks like a well rounded university. I hear from most people that it is better to go into the honors program because the lectures would be smaller and its easier to get to know the professors. Is that true? Does anybody know what UMCP looks for in a transfer student application in order to get admission? If anyone doesn't mind telling me their gpa when they transfer that would be helpful. Any other information anyone would like to share with me such as the social life aspect,education quality,campus activities, greek life, etc., or they think would be helpful please do. I would really appreciate someone responding to my questions soon as they can. Thanks for your input.</p>
