I'm applying as a transfer applicant using the common app.

I have a narrative essay that describes an event in a work experience I had. I think the event is really important to me and how I grew as a person in the last few years. Also, the essay is probably one of my best (if not the best) works to date. The narrative is over 600 words (or two pages) in length.

I wish it would fit in the "short answer" section, which asks me to briefly elaborate on an EC or work experience, but my whole essay obviously won't fit. I cut it down to only include parts of the intro and conclusions paragraphs from my narrative.

However, I feel like doing this makes the essay completely lose all meaning and depth.

My question is- should I attach the narrative to the "Additional Information" section? Is that too redundant? Could I do that if I changed my short answer response?

I honestly wouldn't ask this if I didn't think this was a quality work that I want them to read.
