Ok, my son has lost his wallet! He is so responsible, I can’t believe it. Anyway, I’ve seen on this board that he can’t get a replacement until school resumes. He is doing OA and will be moving in August 8th. Will he be able to get the replacement a week early??? Hate for him to have problems getting into his dorm…

The Action Card office should be open that Monday so he can visit it sometime that day. He should be fine without it for a day or so. I had a problem with my card last year that required me to go the Action Card Office as soon as they were open and everything worked out fine.

Thanks Sea_tide. One more question…Where is the Action Card Office?

Make that 2 more questions. Will they have time to take a break from OA to go and do something like getting a replacement card?

Bamafana: Here’s the link to Student Services. It has information on getting a new ACT card.

Your son should have some time during that week to get a new card. I remember last year my son had a block of time during each afternoon of Alabama Action to run a few errands.

Thank you momreads!

Due to the curriculum, I don’t know if OA gets midday breaks like AA does, but he will find time to go to the office. As the link said, the Action Card Office is a 104 Student Services Center, which is not one of the desks you can see from the hallway, but is rather behind a door near the Parking/Transportation Services desk.

Bamafana: Got an e-mail from my son’s friend who did OA. She said that your son should have some time each day to go get a new card. It only takes five minutes or so. Oh, BTW, she lost her ACT card once last year. It happens.
