When replying to a person’s post I can see my response underneath their comment, but I am also seeing my comment all the way at the bottom of the forum. So, to me it looks like I posted it twice. I am wondering if anyone new jumps on the post if they are wondering why I posted a response in the general area. How would they know what it pertains to?
Hi achouk - great question. Since CC isn’t threaded discussion (like Reddit), all posts show up on the same “level” in chronological order. To show how some posts are replies to others our forum system links them by showing expandable links if a post has one or more replies.
Someone reading your post could see the little arrow in the upper right of your post that shows who you were replying to. Clicking on that arrow will take them to that post.
Some folks like to always quote so there’s no ambiguity about what part of the other post you’re replying to.
Thanks for the explanation!
