Replying emails to recruiter - is taking your time bad?

I want to take as much time as possible to reply in the best way possible by researching and asking on forums for advice, but I thought maybe making it look like I check my email once a day (when I'm umemployed) might make me look not very motivated. Should I just reply as well as I can in about 10 minutes after I check the email? Maybe I'm taking this too seriously...

So basically I have this imaginary due date on replying to recruiters. But I wish I could research as much as possible on how to best go about replying, etc. Would taking a day to reply bad? Would taking 2 days or 3 days look bad?

This is my personal opinion, based on only my personal thoughts, not on professional experience: I wouldn’t take more than 1 day.

I would strongly concur. No more than 1 day!

Half a day.

I don’t think replying 10 minutes after is a bad thing. I check my email all the time through my phone, even if I’m busy. If it’s an email that’s more important to me than what I’m doing, I’ll reply.
