Hi guys, I'm new to this forum but I'll try my best

Anyways Yale's ACT/SAT policy requires that you submit one or the other, but it says that you must submit ALL of your scores from which ever you choose. How can they tell if you have actually submitted all of your scores? If you've taken the ACT once a year since 7th grade (for a grand total of six) simply because your parents signed you up for it and you were an ignorant 7th grader who didn't know any better, obviously you don't want to submit every score. If you only submitted the last two would they really know?

Yale is pretty clear on the need to self-report or submit all scores (at least those from 9th-12th grades). Academic dishonesty is a slippery slope. Don’t do it.

Maybe Yale won’t be able to tell. Maybe they will. Either way, here at Yale we don’t like academic dishonesty. If you cheat to get your way in then you won’t fit in here.

When Yale asks that you send ALL your scores it is assumed that you send only your high school scores.

One more question:
If you’re using the ACT with writing as your standardized test requirement, but you also submit a few SAT subject tests, do you also need to submit any SATs you have taken?

Collegeboard removes your scores from before 9th grade if you have listed your school grade correctly on the website. Not certain about ACT site. However, all colleges only care about scores from high school.

From Yale FAQ

You must report the scores of all of the SATs and SAT Subject Tests or all of the ACTs and ACT Writing Tests that you’ve taken. If you choose to fulfill the requirement with SAT scores, then it’s not necessary to send any scores from the ACT, even if you’ve taken the ACT. If you choose to fulfill the requirement using the ACT, then you don’t need to send us any SAT scores unless you wish to do so. Whichever type of test you choose, you must report all your scores from every time you’ve taken that type of test. And if you choose to use a combination of SAT and ACT test results, you must report all scores from both agencies.
