Report all AP scores, some, or not at all on Common Application?

My son has only has a couple of AP scores and he is trying to decide if he should report them all, some, or none at all. He got a 4 on US History, but on AP Calc BC he got a 2 but got a subscore of 4 on Calc AB (he wasn’t feeling well the day of the exam). He is not applying to any Ivies or super highly competitive schools. He is planning on taking Calc from ground up in college and not planning on trying to place out of Calc I. His History score I would think he would submit for credit, if it is worth anything. But he can submit that score after he gets accepted. He is also planning on taking the AP Chem and AP Physics in May, but again, he wishes to retake those classes in college so he has a solid foundation.

What should he do? I did see there is the option to just report the Calc subscore for AB, which I thought was interesting. Any thoughts? He did do well in the classes and received A’s in both.

Reporting a subscore without reporting the main score may lead the AO to believe that the applicant is hiding the BC score - which he is.

I’d just report the USH score.
