When reporting AP scores you can report Calc BC and you can also report "Calc BC-AB Subscore Grade".

I took 6 AP's total. Do I say I took 7 AP's and report the AB Subscore as its own test?

Thanks.

Where are you reporting it?

On the common app, in the “Testing” section. There’s a drop down section for AP subject tests and the first question is “Number of AP subject tests you have taken or expect to take:”.

I definitely don’t see how it’ll hurt saying that you took 7 AP’s and list AB sub-score as “Extra” AP score. In my case, I simply listed BC score and AB sub-score as each individual “test”. Also, this self report score is in no way the “Official” score. I’m sure it’s just used to holistically view your academic rigorness.
