Report Ranks the Top States for Higher Education

Here are the best states where you can go to college, according to a new report. https://insights.collegeconfidential.com/best-states-for-college

Since no one goes to college in “a state”, this isn’t of much use to a high school student, IMHO. Maybe bragging rights to State Education Departments.

Is anyone bypassing Ivies, Stanford and MIT to attend “Delaware”, “New Jersey” or “Wyoming”?

Kinda like USNews overall rankings vs. major-specific rankings.

Last I checked, if a college is in the USA and not in DC, it is in “a state”, which means that all of the students who attend that college are going to college in “a state”.

More than 95% of all graduating seniors are “bypassing Ivies, Stanford and MIT” to attend the vast number of colleges which are NOT “Ivies, Stanford and MIT”, in a vast number of states.

BTW, Princeton is in New Jersey.

The page mentions that Pennsylvania comes in at #20. Seems odd gven the well known affordability issues for its public universities, needless duplication (CCs and CSHE branches), and and various difficulties at the regional PASSHE campuses.
