REPORT: Sarah Palin Won't Talk to Media

“But wait, isn’t her 17 year old daughter pregnant with the baby of some self-proclaimed “****ing redneck”.”

But wait, don’t liberals think that being conceived out of wedlock is a good thing. Haven’t they redefined the family as well just about anything 1,2,3 men/women in any combination. Obama brags that he came from the same situation, brags about his father abandoning him, and being raised by a poor single mother as the basis for his success. Clinton claimed the same as a big part of his success. I guess that’s only ok for liberals? You should celebrate the unplanned pregnacy, next stop for that child 1600 Penn Ave.

“Jon Stewart is not the press. He’s a comedian.”

Gee I thought you have to be funny to be a comic. Isn’t his set a mock up of a newscast? A reporter pretending to be a comedian pretending to be a reporter, ahh that is funny. I see today that msnbc removed Olbermouth and Mathews from their anchor spots for being biased so I guess someone at NBC agrees with me about their role as fronts for the DNC.

What a ridiculous distortion. The liberal position is that a child born out of wedlock should be treated the same as a child born into a marriage, and not have some scarlet letter branded on his or her forehead by a judgmental society.

While I disagree with making Sarah Palin’s daughter’s pregnancy an issue, some people are choosing to do so because it was the Republicans and their culture wars that demonized such behavior among their opponents. Yet when it happens to them, it should be a “private matter” and such. The hypocrisy is what gets the people riled up.

Tell that to his millions and millions of fans. Or go listen to Dennis Miller’s “comedy” if your skin is too thin.

Keith Olbermann is a commentator and not a journalist. He even said so himself (when asked if he thought he deserved Russert’s spot in “Meet the Press”, he firmly stated that he wasn’t qualified enough as an objective journalist). Word is that Olbermann himself asked MSNBC to stop treating him like a journalist because that was not what he wanted to do, and thus, his leave from anchoring duties.

“some people are choosing to do so because it was the Republicans and their culture wars that demonized such behavior among their opponents. Yet when it happens to them, it should be a “private matter” and such. The hypocrisy is what gets the people riled up.”

In Mussolini’s Italy the trains ran on time. Mankind over the multi thousand year history in thousands of nations/tribes/villages defined cultural norms of the time. You may not agree with those and you may wish to change them but that does not make your vision of society the correct one. The long term effects of the liberal view have yet to be witnessed. I’m acting like a jerk because they started it is a not much of a standard of behavior.

"All the drama made MSNBC a punch line when top NBC anchor Brian Williams appeared on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” last week. “Is there no control?” Stewart asked him. “
Is it
Lord of the Flies?'”

A sheepish Williams said that every family has a dynamic of its own.

“But does MSNBC have to be the Lohans?” Stewart said."

Sounds like a news commentary show to me. Most comedians don’t have Brian Williams as a guest. You can have an agenda, and hide it in comedy, that doesn’t make you impartial, fair, or balanced.

Impartiality requires quite a lot of Liberalism, at least in the classical sense of both words.

Those thinking Palin can’t handle herself in a one-on-one interview have simply to search YouTube for : “SARAH PALIN CSPAN INTERVIEW” in 3 parts.

TOS don’t allow for a direct link…very much worth watching.

Interpretation: Conservatives have the right to dish it but not take it.

Most news commentary shows aren’t aired on COMEDY CENTRAL.

Arnie announced his gubernatorial run on Leno, so that must make the Tonight Show on par with Meet the Press.

Get your thinking cap on.

It’s their campaign, not the media’s. It will be set on their terms, mmkay entitled brats?

Pugfug90’s debating skills:

1) Collect talking points from clips of Fox News and repeat them even if they’re discredited

2) Saturate posts with links to articles that sometimes actually undercut his argument. But hopefully, quantity will mask quality and sheer volume will look like research instead of a lazy 5-second googling.

3) Randomly throw in smiley faces as if he were a a middle school girl in a chat room for the first time. Perhaps this is to create the illusion of a good-natured, well-informed debate.

4) Resort to name calling

Agreed. Quite the gameplan.

Queue to ignore.

Let’s have a referendum on Sarah Palin’s debating skills

As to your debating skills, slash and burn doesn’t work. Why do you think Daily Kos is not revered? If it is revered in your mind… LOL :D

The Republican Party’s new motto should be: “So you think you’re better than me?”

Awww… Well dear Puggy has been on my ignore list for a while, but by the end of the US Elections Puggy might be calm and we can look for Puggy’s real posts outside of the Cafe, and Puggy will be off my ignore list and we can all be happy and productive again.
