I believe it is optional to report SAT scores on common app. I got around 2050 which isnt amazing. Should I report or leave blank? (also junior transfer)
It depends on where you’re applying. Personally, my rule of thumb is that if your SAT below the median for transfers (or freshman, because transfer SAT/ACT isn’t usually published), then you shouldn’t submit, because it won’t help your case.
Obviously, how colleges view SAT/ACT for junior transfers vs. freshman is extremely different, however if you don’t at least surpass the median SAT/ACT for freshman applicants, then I don’t see why you would bother submitting.
