Reporter asks: No acceptances? Rejected at safety?

One of my sons is writing an article for a magazine with a circulation of 150,000 about how this is the most selective college admissions year ever with the goal of alerting people to the changes so folks don't get blindsided next year. If you are a good student who had unexpectedly disappointing results this year and you are willing to be quoted, then please PM me and I'll put you in contact in with him. He's really looking for someone who just got bad advice, or misjudged based on previous years' results and didn't get in. Non-international students would probably be best for this particular article.

As is usual in reporting, he has a very close deadline, so needs something in the next few hours.

Thanks so much for giving him a hand!

There was a kind of famous story of one guy this happened to a while back on CC. It was mostly talked about in the Parents Forum, but I can't remember his screen name. Maybe someone will read this and remember.

Think it was andison? Or something along those lines?

^ Yup! and a CC google search reveals this thread:

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/192395-no-acceptances-one-kid-s-story-year-later.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/192395-no-acceptances-one-kid-s-story-year-later.html</a></p>

as well as others. That should be a great resource ^_^

Andison's story is fantastic, but I think ds was hoping to talk to someone dealing with the situation right now. Thanks, guys!
