I self-studied AP US Govt. last year as a Junior and listed the score on my application. Because I was under the impression that my school listed AP Scores on my transcript, I thought that that was all I needed to say. It turns out they didn't. Should I do anything about this? I was thinking about throwing in a little note with my mid-year reports from my GC saying "Oh btw, wombatsoup independently studied for AP US Govt." Should that work?

^Yeah, my school did the same thing. So, I asked my GC (who I work for) if they could print a new transcript, and they did.

In turn, I sent each transcript to each college. I think it was worth it.

If you listed the score on your app you’ll be fine. You can ask your GC to confirm but generally they’ll just take your word for it. I liked to put “AP Government (self-studied)” as the subject field when I listed my self-studied AP scores.
