Hi,

I got a 111 on the AMC and a 5 on the AIME, how should I report those scores? Should I just write it somewhere, will I need to use some official score report, or will colleges have that info already?

Thanks!

Congratulations! Some applications will ask for the scores, but I think many people (e.g. for common app) will list "AIME qualifier" as an academic honor or award. Just list which grade, tests, and scores. I don't think there is any official score report that you would need to send, but I doubt colleges would already have the info. You need to report it if you think it's useful info to have in your file.

Okay, thanks for the quick answer!

Caltech and MIT actually ask for your AMC/AIME scores. I dont think that anyone else does.

Those are good scores - definitely fit them in. I would go beyond AIME qualifier. i would make sure to put the 5 in there. It is above average.

I see. I'll remember that. Thanks!
