Reporting an EC in progress..and ART as an EC

<p>If you're in your senior year and trying to found a new club,but it's still in the process of being set up by the time you apply,could you still mention it on your application? </p>

<p>Also, would just doing art in your freetime be considered an EC? It's not taking art lessons or joining art organizations or whatever (although i am in my school art club), but just drawing/painting anything in your free time for your own enjoyment. Would you have to have contributed to the community for this to be a good EC?</p>

<p>I included art as an EC. I don’t take lessons either, but I do work in several mediums in my free time and plan to take some classes in college. I would mention it. Colleges want to see your full range of interests (at least that’s how I see it). </p>

<p>What’s the point in only giving them a partial picture of who you are?</p>
