Reporting AP Scores

Hey,

Is anyone here going to post thier AP scores on the addition information section? I know they say not to send addition info, but I'm putting in some stuff on additional info, and figured I might as well post my scores.

I had my counselor send it in with my transcripts. There are also other posts on this issue.

My transcript does not have any AP scores on it. Is it OK for me to put them in the "additional information section," as well as a third SAT II score?

Your GC might have College Board stickers with all your AP scores. My transcript didn't have my AP scores either, but my GC affixed a sticker to it.

And wait, wasn't there a section that let you self-report AP scores?

I don't know if my GC even knows my AP scores. Does the College Board report them to your school?

And I didn't notice the section that allowed you to report AP scores. The section for College Entrance Examination scores only had room for SAT I, SAT IIs, and TOEFL. If someone could point me in the direction of the place for reporting AP scores, that would be great.

This question has been asked a great deal...lol. I don't know what it is with the Columbia app and AP scores.

As has been mentioned in previous threads, I would send in a copy of the AP score report (the one that they mailed to you) together with your transcripts/counselor rec etc.

I believe there is a section on the counselor rec for AP scores. But if I recall correctly, there wasn't enough space there. I guess you could list it under additional info, but why self-report and take up space there when you can have a nice official-looking one?

"As has been mentioned in previous threads, I would send in a copy of the AP score report (the one that they mailed to you) together with your transcripts/counselor rec etc."

Well, the thing is, it is too late for me to do that. I have already sent my transcripts. Now the only option I have is putting it in the additional info section.

Come to think of it, what I thought was the AP score section might've been the additional info section. I can't remember exactly, but I do recall putting my AP scores on the application. So you might as well put it in there.

OK, thanks.

I think I'm going to send a resume through the additional information upload, which will have my AP scores on them.

OK, another question. If I am uploading a document under the "Additional Information" section, does that mean I should check "Yes" for the question that asks "Are you planning to submit any supplementary materials?"? Is additional information the same as supplementary materials?

No, that is only for art/science stuff

Can we call Collegeboard and order an AP score report for Columbia if we forgot to put our AP scores anywhere on the app?

I didn't send in my AP scores but my counselor put it on her report. She asked me for a copy of my student report and I gave it to her because she said that there was a space for it and she wanted to include it.

ap scores i think can be sent by paper copy.. i do not think you should report your third sat ii score on the additional info.. because they'll see it on the collegeboard report.. i think also for ap.. they will see it...... but if it makes you comfortable report it
