<p>Hi, I'm a current junior looking to apply to some top tier schools. There are many awards and competitions that are for seniors only; I was under the impression that most applications are due early January. </p>

<p>Is it worth it/possible to report competitions won and awards granted after the date the RD apps are due?</p>

<p>(This includes results of ARML tryouts, music competitions, essay and research competitions, so there are various degrees of importance to these awards.)</p>

<p>Yes, you may alert them of awards after the deadline. They will add the information to your file.</p>

<p>I’m planning on notifying my colleges of my recent award(s) at one time, so I’m waiting until my last notification rolls in before sending out an email.</p>
