Reporting change

I have a question regarding my reports.
I got my admissions (cognitive science)
and I am currently taking
MATH (UCLA major requirement)
SOCIO & ANTHROP (not UCLA major requirements - UCB major req.)

I really want to be focusing on math so that I could get a good grade -
dropping anthropology (w/ Withdrawl) will affect on my admission decision?
I do not think that I will get C or above in this class :(

I’m in the (almost) exact same position : )
and one of my programming class I don’t need (recommended but not required) is only half of the equivalent class at UC since my ccc is on quarter system :(

I’d really want to drop the two useless classes i’m taking this quarter… OTL

That’s a good question. I was also taking a course that was only required for Berkeley, and I dropped it, got into UCLA, and am now waiting to hear if my admissions decision will be affected (@ UCLA). I dropped a course called “Quantitative Analysis: Chemistry 5,” though. You know, if we all pooled our resources I’ll bet that we can find out an answer. I’ve called around all week and got 2 UCLA transfer rep phone numbers/emails, here:
Amanda Eversmann: (916)418-4394 aeversmann@ucla.edu
Ben Kwak: (310)794-4273 bkwak@saonet.ucla.edu

Leaving voicemails and emailing both of these reps didn’t get me a response, yet. Maybe you’ll have better luck? ha. I’ve also emailed the Chemistry department at UCLA (no response), sent a typed letter to the UARS last friday, submitted academic changes online at the UCLA website yesterday, and spoken to admissions at UCLA on 2 separate occasions, this week. No definitive answer. If you find anything out, then by all means, please let me know. Thanks
