Reporting Changes in Senior Class schedule at UCI?

So I received my acceptance on March 17...but my happiness was short lived. When I first submitted my UC application, I had accidentally put my Economics class as a year long course. The thing is, my school only offers a half year of Economics and a half year of Government for senior year.

I just sent a message to my UCI admissions counselor saying I dropped Economics and added Government for my second semester..

However I'm terrified of losing my acceptance!

I've already fulfilled all of my required A-G and my major is Chemistry...

This shouldn't cause my admission to be revoked...RIGHT?!

Please help :(

It’s a common mistake. Don’t stress.

Don’t worry, econ and government are always semester-long courses. I’m sure they’ll understand.

It’s better that you told them it’s worse if they find out

As a current UCI freshman, I am 90% sure they will not revoke your acceptance for a single class that you did not take. Obviously, they did not base your acceptance on a single class you are taking for 1 year. If it is a problem, offer your councilor a deal. Tell him you will take it online or in a community college over summer. You will be fine. Just handle the situation with intelligence and poise <3
